SIX RIXS-Spectrometer
The long and variable exit arm length of the SIX RIXS-Spectrometer and the variable included angle at the grating allow for very high energy resolution over the whole spectral range. The compact design and mechanical decoupling of the optical components ensure very high vibrational and drift stability.
Mechanism
The collimating mirror unit, the grating unit and the detector unit have separate rotational guidance and drive for the variation of the scattering angle.

Application
Spectrometers at synchrotron radiation beamlines are used to analyze and detect soft and hard X-ray radiation, which is elastically and inelastically scattered from a specimen placed in the interaction center of the experimental station.
